The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of RTL Group, on 30 April 2025, approved the statutory and consolidated accounts as at 31 December 2024, and all proposed resolutions.
The AGM resolved to pay a dividend of €2.50 per share. The dividend for the full year ended 31 December 2024 will be payable from 6 May 2025 (ex-date: 2 May 2025) at the following banks:
The AGM ratified and confirmed Thomas Coesfeld as Non-Executive Director for a term of office expiring at the end of the AGM ruling on the 2026 accounts. Thomas Coesfeld was co-opted at RTL Group’s Board Meeting on 19 March 2025, following the resignation of Thomas Götz.
Thomas Coesfeld has been the CEO of Bertelsmann’s music business, BMG, since July 2023 and a member of the Bertelsmann Executive Board since July 2024. He began his professional career in 2014 as a management consultant at McKinsey, and in 2016 joined Bertelsmann where he held a variety of executive positions across the Bertelsmann Group. From October 2020 to June 2023, he was the CFO of BMG. In this role, he played a key role in implementing Bertelsmann’s Boost strategy for the music division.
